Community Helps Save Lives
Lonedell recently held its first blood drive of the year. It was hosted by Mr. Dierker and Mrs. Knickmeyer. Of the 28 adults attempting to donate, 26 were able to do so successfully. Overall, we collected 26 pints of blood which equals saving the lives of 78 people who desperately need blood! Eighteen students volunteered their time to serve drinks and cookies, and help the donators.
Another blood drive is scheduled for March.
