Beginning Band

Mrs. Durgin is getting things moving with Beginning Band. Currently, there are 26 student taking part in band.  Nineteen new students joined band this school year, and 2 previous band members are trying out new instruments.  That makes a total of 21 students learning a new skill and growing in musical knowledge.  

If your student might be interested, it isn't too late to join.  Mrs. Durgin will be accepting students until October 1.  No musical knowledge is necessary, she will teach you from the basics up and can help make arrangements to find affordable instruments.  Being in band means that students get to take part in special events, band performances, and try out for high school band.
