Lonedell Students Create Art for our Community
Students in the Community Art Club are focusing on bringing a love of art to Lonedell and St. Clair area businesses. The most recent project is displayed at Head to Toe Salon in Lonedell. It was a Kindergarten through 6th Grade collaborative art project.
On the first day of school, students each colored 2 coffee filters using markers. The filters were sprayed with water, creating a tye-dye effect. The colored filters were assembled onto a large backing by the middle school students who are part of the Community Art Club. After being displayed at school for a while, the project was mounted at the salon.
You will see additional projects displayed throughout businesses in St. Clair and Lonedell in the future. Thanks to Mrs. Hicks for sharing the talent of our students throughout the community.
