100 Days Smarter

Lower elementary students celebrated the 100th Day of School on Monday, February 4, after a few long snow days.  Students were welcomed back to specially decorated rooms, as well as some much older looking teachers!  The day's activities included a 100 theme.  Pictures of what students might age like were hung, there were 100 counting blocks, cups to build with, and many other items to see just how many 100 is.  Each year students bring in a collection of 100 items such buttons or cotton swabs that they have counted out and displayed.

"Learning to count to 100 is special, but learning to understand just how many 100 things actually are is even more special.  This is a big day for my firsties, and we really try to make it fun," stated Mrs. Generally.  Congratulations to all of our students on making it through 100 days of school!
