Books Donated for PK-2nd Graders

Kathleen Boulay-Eaton, with Mr. Rif's Readers, recently donated books for each of our preschool through 2nd grade students. This organization began with Tom Haefner, who taught in the Granite City School District for over 30 years. He was in charge of the Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) program there for most of those years; so much so that the kids started calling him Mr. Rif. The organization was formed in his memory.
Each student was gifted an age appropriate book that they get to take home and have as their own. This organization is hosting a raffle for a Samsung 58" Class 4K television. TTT provides duffel bags and hygiene supplies to children being taken into foster care.
