Students Run The Mile

Students have been working on their physical fitness levels in PE Class.  They have been testing their flexibility, core strength, speed, upper body strength, and cardiovascular endurance and strength.  One item of the testing includes the 1 mile run.  Students have been learning to pace themselves so they are able to run the mile without walking.  Of course with almost everything we do at Lonedell, students are encouraged to set a goal and go for their personal best time.   Some students can already run a mile at a pretty fast pace.  Below are the top 10 mile times so far this year for grades 4-8.  Great work Bobcats!
