Pennies for Patients Raises Money to Help Leukemia Society
The count is finally in, and our annual Pennies For Patients event raised 1008.29 during the month of February. The entire school took part with the top classrooms being Kindergarten Mrs. Cox with 201.98, 2nd Grade Mrs. LaCrone with 177.37, 4th Grade Mrs. Hardaway with 110.65, and 5th Grade Mrs. Brendel with 100.00.
Mrs. Cox's class enjoyed a pizza party and a silver pennant. The other three top earning classes received a bronze pennant. All money raised is donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. For details on this organization and how they help, check them out at https://www.lls.org/who-we-are/mission
