Mrs. Friel’s Class Learns About the Moon
1st grade has been studying the Sun, Moon and stars during Science time. This week's focus in Mrs. Friel's class was the Moon! Students watched a moon video and created a Moon Facts book early in the week. Then on Friday, they did a Moon Crater Experiment about Asteroids and the Moon's surface! They learned the more mass (or weight) an astroid has the deeper a crater will be when it hits the Moon's surface. Their learning this week was truly "OUT OF THIS WORLD!!"
