Students Celebrate Thanksgiving

Students throughout the district celebrated Thanksgiving in a special way before the holiday break.  From collecting goods to help families in our community who needed some assistance with their meal, to planning and preparing a full dinner, to celebrating Friendsgiving with their classmates, fun was had by all.

Mrs. Taylor again took on the endeavor of collecting food items for our local families in need.  With the help from our local Boy Scouts, we collected enough to provide 27 baskets full

of turkey and all the fixings.

Our littlest children in Pre K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade all joined together to enjoy their first ever Friendsgiving.  Each student dressed extra special and enjoyed treats with their friends at a very long table!

Mrs. Knickmeyer's FACS class planned, shopped for, and prepared a full blown thanksgiving feast.  There was turkey, all the fixings, tea, and several pies.  They invited staff to enjoy the feast with them.
