St. Clair ROTC Presents 911 Ceremony to Middle School Students
St. Clair's Junior ROTC visited the middle school students on September 11 to present a remembrance ceremony for 911. The high school students played the National Anthem on trumpet. The ROTC Commander read about the events of September 11, 2001, mentioning the events, those killed and wounded at all sites. These students can't recall the day because they were very young or not yet born. That didn't stop the heartfelt respect showed to the memory of those lost during the tragedy. After the reading, a moment of silence was held, then TAPS was played on trumpet. The ROTC members ended the ceremony with the folding of the flag.
We are so grateful for the example these young adults set for our middle school students.
