HOPEsters Recognized

This year, the Lonedell School District has adopted the theme of HOPE.  We all need hope in our lives, and what a better way to find it than to honor students who exhibit it each day.  Our first honored HOPEsters are

Aiden D., Serina W., Chris., Antonio W., Harmony W., Kylie B., Kaylee R., Maci L., Daisy S., Gage R., Easton T., Camden B., Owen R., and Samantha G.

The comments as to why these students were honored include:

"Aiden and Sarina are both assisting with helping a wheel chair bound student get from class to class and various locations in the classroom. They do not have to be asked. They seem excited and happy about being able to help out.  They are my Hopesters this week!!  Thank you for inspiring me."

"Chris is a hopester because he is always helpful to his friends and teacher. He is always spreading warmth and kindness when his friends are experiencing BIG feelings. Chris always lifts them up and goes out of his way to play with friends who don't have anyone to play with."

"Antionio helped a friend in class and encouraged them to not give up when something was difficult for them!"

"Harmony is always helpful even when no one is looking.  She is kind to her peers and respectful of the staff.  She is a great role model for others."

"Kylie is always very respectful to all staff members and classmates.  She represents herself and our school very well.  She is positive, helpful, kind and a very hard working student."

"Kaylee inspired hope the first week of school by helping younger students find their classes."

"Daisy and Maci used chalk during recess to write inspiring words on the blacktop such as "Be Kind" "Be Awesome" and "Be a good friend". This is a great message to anyone who reads it during recess!"

"Easton is always patient and plays with friends who don't have anyone to play with."

"Gage always making sure everyone is included and welcomes anyone into a conversation or activity."

"Camden continues to play with everyone and  tries very hard to work out problems he may encounter."

"Owen is a very pleasant young man who is always kind and respectful.  He works hard and never complains."

"Samantha is a Hopester because she brings smiles and laughs to our classroom every day. She is fearless and loves to lift others up with her kind heart and her bright smile."

Thank you to each of these amazing students for exhibiting HOPE in their day to day lives.  You make us very proud!
